AFRO-LATINO Experience (ALE)

Our mission is to increase the worldwide visibility of the racial and cultural identity of African descendant communities in Latin America, in an effort to try to mitigate and eliminate some of the forms of exclusion that follow from different variations of systemic and institutionalized racism.

ALE STEAM Summer Camp

June 29 - July 4, 2015

The main goal of this project is to prepare a new generation of underrepresented scientists and engineers from disadvantage middle and high schools in Latin America, through a series of Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture, and Mathematics (STEAM) research activities as well as social and cultural workshops.
